Well I’ve completed my Texas Roadhouse application within 1 week (4 weeks ago) and its one of the most beneficial programs I’ve ever made. Heres the breakdown…
- Tracks all of our promotions via customer receipt (has discount description)
- Has a very user friendly interface (the program is made to look for errors)
- Search history to see how many sales we had during point a to point b
- Category and sub categories to organize promotions
- Data is in MySQL
- Has Matt Lo written all over it
Its written in PHP and running on WAMP (only way I could do it without screwing up all their settings for all their other crap, plus I didnt feel like spending time in installing php/mysql)
In other news, artclicker.com (future stock illustration website) is still underway, I’m coding the admin system to add all the images/paypal stuff. Taking forever.
Also I’ve started a new site which I think will be one for the books (at least for Halo 3). PGTourh3.com is a ladder site (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ladder_system) that uses RSS feeds from bungie.net to verify games that are played by the users. I hope to release this site during spring (along with artclicker.com) and attract some big names. I’ll explain a lot more in detail a little later in the season.
Finally another networking site due by the end of summer by KSIGlobal.com, they pay me monthly to do this project and hopfully they like the results. Again more details as I work further into it.
